sgolds, on that Ed Stroligo article, I'm trying to imagine a huge IA64 plug-in processor on top of a stackable P4. Somehow, the image of an elephant humping a mouse comes to mind! Can't get rid of that image...

LOL, I have exactly the same impression but I cant' also imagine how Intel will let Athlon 64 go with Win XP 64 for extended systems without competition.
