Most people who own guns legally now won’t care about stiffer background checks nor do I. We don’t obviously and will likely never agree on the actual physical weapons themselves, but that is a different debate.
However, increasing stricter measures and even if were to go as far as a total gun ban, criminals would still find a way to get guns.
