It's common sense that CBD is harmless at typical doses. Now, if you spend $50,000 on one dose of pure isolated CBD and take it all at once, you may have problems. You see, the CBD I'm discussing is an inherent part of hemp extract just like how caffeine (a drug ingredient) is an inherent part of coffee. One makes you hyper and irritated, and one makes you calm and relaxed. The FDA seems to have a problem with the one that makes you calm and relaxed.
Now, I'm sure that everyone here agrees that marijuana has never killed anyone.
Now, follow this logic:
Marijuana is cannabis; hemp is cannabis, cannabis is hemp and marijuana. Hemp is classified as hemp since its THC levels are low. Cannabis and cannabis extracts have been proven not to kill anyone a long time ago. Now, what GW Pharmaceuticals is trying to say is that CBD ISOLATE (a cannabis ingredient) can kill you at $50,000 a pop doses, but if it really could kill you when it's present in a hemp extract, then that would have become self-evident a long time ago since people have been smoking high CBD cannabis for ages.
GW Pharma has an agenda to steal full control of the CBD industry, and their junk science CBD liver study is their tool to get it done. Without that, they have NOTHING. --That's why the FDA is highlighting GW's research so heavily despite the fact that it's junk science, because it's a political attempt to scare idiots-that-do-no-research into thinking that big pharma should control the CBD industry solely, and the FDA is siding heavily with big pharma probably because of the revolving door situation that is happening there. For example, now Dr. Scott Gottlieb is an executive at big pharma now. In time, Dr. Amy Abernathy will probably end up as a big executive at GW Pharmaceuticals if GW and her get their way.
