The FDA does not operate on "common sense", rather scientific evidence and lengthy studies.

PS the rub is who was first. Food ingredients can be drug ingredients, but ingredients used in drugs first can't be food. Have you even read what the FDA said?
Caffeine has 1000's of years in the food supply before it was added to drugs. CBD does not.
That's why the FDA is highlighting GW's research so heavily despite the fact that it's junk science, because it's a political attempt to scare idiots-that-do-no-research into thinking that big pharma should control the CBD industry solely
