This is great! I did notice the discrepancy in the news and reporting. Seems FDA wants to ignore a lot of good science. Who can it be forwarded to to warrant some much needed attention?

American had a chance to since it was and is still federally illegal, but as soon as a British Pharmaceutical company asks the FDA to approve their marijuana-based drug, the federal FDA approves the drug. Meanwhile, marijuana is still a schedule I drug with supposedly no approved medical uses. I'm calling you out you FDA frauds.

Here I was thinking that Trump was a protectionist. I guess I was wrong.

YEP! and why I'll never trust the FDA who is currently in Pharma's pocket.

The FDA isn't favoring one side, they are saying only one side has presented an accepted scientific study.

You can't combat that with opinion and toxicology reports.

Someone gonna have to step up and take one for the team, and spend some real money getting some solid science...Sorry Self GRAS isn't it, or it would already be moot.

The FDA isn't going to do the research themselves.

The whole industry whines about the FDA who is there in your best interest, to protect you from ingesting things that may be harmful...Like drug ingredients in food.

Until someone shows them undeniable proof...nothing will happen.

Has anyone considered what kind of precedent would be set if they allowed a drug ingredient in food, due to political pressure?

What case would they have for other drug ingredients not finding their way in to food? There are plenty of drugs that can already be proven not to be harmful in the correct dosages.

If this is the way you feel, why don't you ask her about these things on Twitter? Science is not Science without debate.
