Trump's base amounts to approx 40% of voters...If the House doesn't want to do it's job, the 40% of Dem voters and remaining 20% of Independent voters might (rightfully) stay home in 2020.
An impeachment hearing in the House is necessary imo, but it's good to get opinions pro/con, so thanks.

They are basically running an impeachment inquiry now with Nadler's committee.

I think they should formalize it which will give them better standings in the courts when subpoena's get ignored.

McGahn is refusing to testify right now along with at least a half dozen others.
