CORRECT! The Transfer Agent TRANSFERS THE SHARES, but has no role in selling the shares! Even a direct sale is between the company and the buyer. The Tranfer Agent's role is to deliver the shares to the buyer, i.e. the shares are "transferred".

It is nonsense to include a slash between "transfer agent" and "mm", implying these folks somehow perform similar functions. MM's make the market! Transfer agents do not!

..."transfer" the shares from the company to the public...

Disagree? I posted the Investopedia definition of a Transfer Agent to support my contention and it provided NO INDICATION A TRANSFER AGENT SELLS SHARES. Please post a similar verifiable definition to support the claim a Transfer Agent does in fact sell shares.

Wanna know what Transfer Agents are approved and/or regulated to do? Below the readers will find a link to the SEC's DEFINITION of a Transfer Agent! Take note there is NOT ONE WORD about a Transfer Agent owning and selling stock!

...in this case, sell to the public at .0001 and buy from the company at .00001 for a 10x gain going to the company, minus commission and fees, for working capital. lol, go read a different penny stock 101 book

IN CASE HAS BEEN MISSED, I CHOOSE TO RELY ON THE SEC 101 BOOK! It appears the referenced "penny stock 101 book" is perhaps not exactly a definitive source of securities industry FACTS!
