#129235 RE: Don Quixote #129229

Unfortunately we live in a world of sound bites.

One side listens to the left leaning news shows and the other side listens to the right leaning news shows.

Few people do any reading or research on their own.

I had my opinion of the Mueller Report based on what I heard on TV and what I read online but I decided to read the report for myself.

It wasn’t exactly the summer reading I had planned on and it wasn’t the easiest read with all of the redactions but I continued on.

My opinion has not changed one bit and I really wish that people on the right would sit down and read the damn report before spewing all of the nonsense that they were fed by the likes of Sean Hannity.

If they walk away with anything they would have to question if it is normal for so many people involved in the Trump campaign to have so many meetings, phone calls, texts with Russians. That alone should throw up red flags.

Throughout the last year or so many things were brought up by the press when people were indicted, when people lied, when Trump himself did or said things that were beyond the pale but these things weren’t all reported on at the same time. Each news cycle brought up something and the thing before it was buried.

Reading this report and seeing ALL of the “unusual” things that occurred over and over has to make even the most ardent Trump supporter question themselves and their beliefs.

If nothing else, I wish it would be required reading in schools. Maybe the next generation would be a little smarter and can teach their parents.
