That is simply BS. The ceremony was supposed to start at 11 AM. The vets were on the stage waiting. Trump did not have to wait for Macron's arrival and he could have simply gone up to the stage and chatted with the vets waiting for Macron to show up.
And don't tell me that interview wasn't pre-planned. He could have simply said Laura this is not the time or the place. And in case you missed it Laura mentioned that the reason for the interview was that Macron was late.
The one damn day he could have risen above his daily BS he simply couldn't resist with his GD insults.

I won't make excuses for Macron being late but as CIC Trump should have understood what 11AM sharp mean't.
