I didn't hear her say that, but I did think her response to the question, "are you worried RVNC will take share from you due to longer durability" was interesting. It was along the lines of "each new competitor will grow the market and we can all prosper", not "our product is as good or better so no worries here".
Also, what of the talk on the call of a Hugel toxin approval and undercutting the price savagely? Sounded like a longer term horizon for approval, but what is your take on that product, and why the chatter already over pricing of it this far out?
Last point from the call was affirmation from EOLS that the bundling discount clients get from AGN (by buying both fillers/botox together) could make things difficult to gain share because all EOLS has is a toxin. AGN has 70% of cosmetic market and oh btw most of their big clients bundle. To me, that's main reason RVNC has to partner. You seriously think you can beat that machine by yourself? Get real. Give up half the drug to get infused with cash and partner with someone who can compete with its suite of products along with your drug.
EOLS said on the call they won't break even for 2 years. Assuming RVNC was on a similar path by not partnering, can you imagine how much cash they would need to continue trials and keep the lights on? I'd rather not, it's too frightening.
