Right click anywhere on the main screen. Go to the "appearance" tab and at the bottom is font size. Mine is set at normal.

"Hard to read" as in really really tiny or as in kind of wavy & distorted and maybe a bit smaller than normal?

If the latter, and if you're also using an LCD monitor, it's likely just not running at it's native resolution (ie. something like 1280x1024 for a 19 inch LCD). Display properties/Settings is where you can reset the resolution.

If the system restore doesn't do it try this.


Reset the windows default font size to 75%, click apply, then set back to 100% again. After a restart hopefully everything will be back to normal.

After applying and closing display properties the fonts went very small (without a restart) and then go back to the same place and reset it to 100%.
