This from intel. I interpreted this to be the date of the increase. I had forgotten that they have 45 days to report. ( My excuses are it was very late and secondly I'm not to smart.)
I agree with you that it was for reporting for the calendar year end. Makes perfect sense that they increased then when the price was so low.
