I dont see the AU authorities inviting Anavex to please conduct the trials of an unproven drug in AU because the expectations are so high ... you?

Per the P2a trial, Anavex 2-73 is not an unproven drug ... it is not an "approved" drug. Remember, the Aussies know a lot more about the P2a trial's results than we do and my bet (Where's Fitz?) is that they are extremely pleased with its performance though protocol requires more data to be gathered.
