Chicken is a whole different game. Sanderson farms is out of college station, Texas. I did work with the poultry science division at Texas A&M with them so I am very familiar with it.
When you talk quality of processed foods vs free range there is a huge difference and a huge difference in demand. Not many people go to the grocery store to buy processed shrimp, or shrimp at all for that matter
