In my younger years as a bartender I knew a lady that was a PHD. Her name was not McBeth, but eerily similar.
She was very well educated, funny, well liked, yet in the business world, she could barely compete with people half her IQ in her field.
I never understood why she wasn’t bringing down six figures a year, she knew everything, yet could apply almost nothing, and if she did apply herself to something, she mashed everyone’s toes along the way, and eventually got nowhere.
