Trading the symbol is not the issue I was getting at. I’m a two year minimum holder... The fact is relatively very few people know about this company in a hot sector.
The long term growth prospects for this company will greatly improve with a serious branding / marketing campaign to sell its products and increase market share NOW. They have first mover status and they should squeeze every ounce of it.
I would ratchet down the world class mgmt. moniker. Yes, big improvements have been made and they are looking to improve further.
However, its evident listening on the CC, the C suite presenters are not leaders of a public company with potential for enormous growth. To the CEOs credit, I believe he knows it and is stepping aside.
Trust me I get everything your saying. My concern is about market cap not necessarily the share price on its own. As a big investor their market cap becomes paramount in this sector .
How can CW acquire a big company like Canopy just did if their cap itself is way undervalued and share price low? How can they make a good deal? hard to aquire a 3b company if your falling below 2b. To stay on top and become a big player its going to take using the equity and acquiring. Things are happening very fast
Its one thing if the company is very active on the PR and IR front and the share price still does not respond properly. Sometimes a company just can't control that. Im ok with that
Its another thing if you are undervalued and have been completely quiet They have new products. They have intent on up listing. They have many interesting things going on in over 4000k stores now Did they PR one D.. thing? nothing. As a big investor yes I am not happy about this. But
Perhaps they are not ready to acquire and the market cap isn't a big factor in their overall plan at the moment, They may not be ready to use their equity to acquire. These events though can not be to far away if they are going to win big
Canopy was able to make that big acquisition because their market cap supported it
I was just mailed a new investor presentation. Im sure you all got it. Why no PR about it?
