I do not say it won't help anything but the cost / benefit won't worth it definitely.

Some doctors are reluctant to write scripts due to out of pocket cost but if they see how well covered it is, they may be more inclined to write a script.

I leave it for prescriber to react / answer but I do not think too many check coverage before write a script.

Also if one is choosing an insurance and wants V, seeing a tracker on Amarin's website, may help them choosing coverage.

If one would like to choose an insurance based on V coverage she / he can do it based on a lot of site / app (for her / his location).
