On Tuesday, the Wall Street Journal reported that, after raging and storming at Federal Reserve chairman Jerome Powell in several meetings, President Donald Trump has finally acknowledged he doesn’t have the power to dismiss the powerful central bank official.
“I guess I’m stuck with you,” he reportedly said of Powell.
The problem is Trump views himself as a CEO and the imperial president and he does not have to answer to the other 2 branches of government.
Not just as a CEO. As CEO of a family firm. CEOs of big companies can't just do whatever they damn please. They have to be responsive to their board of directors. Trumpty's never had to deal with a board that didn't consist of himself and his children.
