My sense is the Precision Medicine initiative into CNS disease studies must have sounded good at the time in FDA but then when they tried to write the rules in the they recognized quickly that it was a complete rewrite of their entire rules book, Organization structure and budget. They must be conflicted trying to staff and implement both old and new.

It seems(a guess) A2-73 came along about the time new (Dr G) leaders were driving change the establishment pushed back after they crushed the Amyloid trials in one bloody swipe. IMO, the AVXL 3 trials 2018 intuitive got blown up during that shake up. Now maybe they are ready to rebuild. Hope so, but the good news is, we survived a near death experience and now have a powerful technical consortium, trial results on the way and a whole new mindset about REALLY solving CNS diseases. And, we witnessed all that pain and anxiety...never again.
