The question then, is, will Missling entertain in any way a Big Pharmaceuticals buyout, hostile or otherwise? Let’s see.

I doubt it. He and his people see the long-term revenue potentials of the company. Sure, he could work up a quick buyout at, say, $50. Most shareholders (sadly) would take that and be happy.

Missling and others (me, among them) have punched the number ranges for potential global Anavex Life Sciences Corp annual revenues. Those, even at the lowest ranges, mandate an AVXL share price with three digits (way out, maybe four).

I doubt Missling and the other Anavex principals are wondering where next month’s rent payments are coming from. They have no compulsions or imperatives to sell out. In time, the company will equal or eclipse any of the exiting Big Pharmas. A few bucks now? Or continuing millions in a decade?
