Nocona, I was not in the military but am a serious student of WWII armored warfare. As such, thru reading the history and seeing the films, I've come to appreciate the staggering feats of bravery our armed forces have had to perform, in order to protect our way of life. NO scene or event will ever surpass in my mind the d-day invasion, where our men arrived in water too deep, with waves of German machine gun fire pouring down on the beach.
