I'm glad you brought up the concept of stacking tanks. Actually, that idea isn't the joke that you suggest. At some point in the future SHMP plans to experiment with vertical tanks that would produce greater yield per sq. ft. - similar in volume and shape to a grain silo. Can our shrimp thrive in water that's 15 feet deep with artificial bottoms every foot? We don't know yet, but we are going to find out. If the vertical tanks work, perhaps our facilities will require half the floor space and the entire operation will be more efficient. Think about profit per square foot. Go SHMP!!!!!
