I guess I am just to used to the world of normal trials where the stat analysis plan is developed prior the data.

How many failed drugs would have been approved if they drew up a stat analysis plan after the data?

And why is it a "gianormous task"? Certainly been done often enough. Perhaps they need help from some Cat equipment to mine that deep?
