Please give specific figures - I don't see any points being proven. There is no obvious relationship, and short interest is down approx 12% from the high so there has been no significant covering as of the most recent short report and liquidity hasn't been high enough (IMO) to permit significant short covering recently.

There is considerably less short interest
than @ $7. My guess is a LOT OF ROOM to cover even with the vig.

They have been the prime sellers of calls for a long time
for even MORE room.
