Xena, when you get a min. please look over the links and connections recently raised by the new AVXL patent app. The inventor identified in the patent by AVXL is the technology officer of another company (Cognision-byCecci) . The AI S/W they own is called Neuronetrix (see links in posts below). This AI S/W has FDA 510K approved for this purpose FDA K 141316. The S/W is described as compliant w/21 CFR part 820 as a medical device. A PR written by the firm a while back says it was being used by Anavex to study AD applications. There is more which so far all looks legitimate. Questions such as this suggests a partnering of some type w/the AI S/W firm for purposes of trials-further validations. The use of EEG, other such for trials instead of long, expensive methods is very interesting, even if only used to manage detect-AD biomarkers.
