Thanks blu! (and others) I tried to point this out the AM in response to this type line of reasoning.

The gist was that the 3 micro-cap bios in my holdings have remarkably similar charts for the last 30 days. This despite the fact that they have utterly different fundamental factors (stage of development, financials, targeted disease, etc) Interestingly they also have fairly different inst. holding. BCRX 93%, AVXL 17%, ONCY 1%.

The first-order reason for this is obvious enough; it does not include that AVXL has any particular fundamental issues (many red herrings discussed on the board .... bad CEO, bad science, etc, etc. usw) nor can one say that a "cabal" has special interest in trashing AVXL. The "cabal" seems to be plenty occupied in trashing much more than one stock.
