Technically, receivership does end conservatorship. According to HERA section 1367(a)(4)(D):
‘(D) RECEIVERSHIP TERMINATES CONSERVATORSHIP- The appointment of the Agency as receiver of a regulated entity under this section shall immediately terminate any conservatorship established for the regulated entity under this title.
Again, you are reading and projecting into what someone else says. I don't know very many "reasonable" persons in D.C. And I don't EXPECT any sort of encouraging language from those folks - they are what they are. We are investors and keeping our fingers crossed FOR RESULTS, not just words.
