It's hard to imagine that a country projecting 250 new Alzheimer's patients per day could not recruit 450 patients in a reasonable amount of time..
10 patients per day would be 45 days, that is less than 5% of new patients.
...And yet precedent tell us otherwise.
...and yet Spain has 2x the population spread over 1/15 the land area
...and AD is a human and financial burden everywhere and with similar crisis of numbers looming. Nothing special about Australia in terms of motivation.
