Can you blame someone for forking over $1 million in cash in exchange for $10 million in profits a year or two later? These companies exploit the same SEC rules that try and help raise capital. That's it in a nutshell. The loopholes make everyone rich at the expense of shareholders and it's totally legal (for the most part). I think what's happened here crosses the line, but that just imo. Rufus has alluded to "off-shore" quite a few times on SPR touts.
