Sam...they are only allowed to promote Reduce-It results to healthcare professionals, NOT the general public. This is where BB is just not getting it. The company already confirmed this.

In AMRN filing yesterday, the below quoted is there for everyone to read:

"Based on the positive REDUCE-IT results, we have begun promoting REDUCE-IT results to healthcare professionals in the United
States based on what we believe is our continuing obligation under our First Amendment settlement to ensure that our promotion of
Vascepa remains truthful and non-misleading. We are also developing Vascepa for FDA approval of additional indications based on
REDUCE-IT."

Sam- I understand Amarin’s current strategy, but it doesn’t go far enough to protect patients. This was an unknown due to no information regarding when sNDA would be filed or if R-I SPA had an immediate Anchor like label.

Neither an immediate label or timely sNDA is now expected, this has created a NEW issue, the safety of patients.

Amarin MUST expand First promotion even if leading to FDA legal battle, the results of R-I are too strong to stifle. Patients need this drug!!!

??? What new indications does AMRN have in mind here???
Quote, "We are also developing Vascepa for FDA approval of additional
indications based on Reduce-It."

Are these new indications outside of CVD?
Could one potentially be weight loss? (as an example.)

Good grief - do we really have to go through this nonsense AGAIN?!? This issue was settled last week - AMRN cannot promote R-IT to anyone but healthcare professionals prior to sNDA approval, and IR confirmed it - END OF STORY. Groundhog Day was a great movie, but it doesn't make for a good stock message board.
