I think the negative conclusions you guys are trying to draw regarding the genetic variants are just as dodgy as positive ones on such small n, 8 and 13 respectively out of which just 20% have the bad variants.
But yes bottom-line so far is that the overall contribution of the SIGMAR1 and COMT variants seems small in relation to the effect of concentration and baseline scores.
The surprise factor to me may be that APOE4 status seems to have no baring on treatment effect. This would be a key differentiator to pretty much all other current plaque attack AD drugs in trial.
