Read between the lines. Trust me, I hope he does but I suspect we are being sold a yarn. We read that news two weeks ago, along with his 10% tax cut with a congress out of session, 15k troops to the boarder for a non existent caravan , yada yada yada.
This news from a Californian GOPer in a mid term year where they are widely expected to lose big in the house. They know this and are pulling out all stops to keep, if not gain, a few Senate seats.
Your post is relevant for sure and mostly accurate. I'm just not seeing the past two years of this administrations approach to legalize Pot as backing it up. In fact I see Sessions et al doing the exact reverse.
