I understand what you’re saying but this logic works the other way around. If they payd this triway dividend on time, 1,5 years ago you would have payed $2,5-3 (dilution adjusted) per siaf share for the same stake in triway.
Now you pay 80-90% less for the siaf shares.

Siaf are settling debt for $1,80 and are giving it to shareholders for market price of $0,20.

Trip "The Triway partners gets rid of their debt to you by paying you shares at a ridiculously high valuation compared to the actual market value." Nobodyt knows the market value of TRW. It is nonsense to use SIAF as a guide regarding the market value. Solomon has proved over years that he is an idiot as far as financial management is concerned and he controls SIAF by means of his A-shares. He does not control TRW in the same way. A p/e of 10 for TRW is not a ridiculously high valuation. It is your assessment that is ridiculous.
