Now it could be that the 7 week P1 like study in only 15 girls eliminates that 4 week observation period for the full P2 placebo controlled trial.



The “observation” period was to establish a baseline for each individual patient. Don’t personally think the 7 week trial will solve that necessity imo.

It will should indeed allow a quicker result, albeit probably from an unblinded trial that is inherently more susceptible to bias imo.

It will be interesting to see if they actually register the trial on Clinicaltrials. gov.

Or they will run the trials concurrently... While dosing the 7-wk trial, they can also enroll and begin the 4-wk observation period of the larger trial.
