I love the new line that reducing CV Death isn't really a big deal, because it isn't really that many people for that long, and that people who live longer might do bad things anyway.
I can imagine this being a big issue at the next AdCom.
"Yes Mr. Thero, I understand that Vascepa reduces risk of CV Death by 30%. But try to keep in mind -- that isn't everybody. And who knows whether it would be better if those people lived longer. They might be BAD people, you know, Mr. Thero. Should they really be living longer?"
And then they only extend approval for folks with trigs over 200. And people who attend church regularly, or donate to UNICEF.
