I was just clarifying whom in Ohio was doing what - The United States did not become a country until 1776 - Not 1492 - And the United States govt is responsible for the Genocide against the native americans - My best friend is a Shawnee Indian, and he has been very Specific about it - Not to mention all his friends.
Columbus by no means had the ability to do the destruction that the 1800 era U.S. govt did.
It is a matter of scale.
Personally, people can complain about Columbus all they want. He was not a nice guy either.
BTW - Columbus was long since dead in terms of the background of the Thanksgiving Holiday.
