I asked this question a few years ago. Does anyone remember reading posts from "harveyspecter365" on Yahoo back in '12-14? He was an AMRN bull for sure and I always pictured the character from "Suits" speaking the posts in his voice.
Things got ugly and the board kind of went south quick over there at Yahoo. . Someone mentioned IHub was better and I logged in that day years ago and haven't missed a day since. Well over 100,000 posts read here since the switchover. That's been my simple DD. I thank all posters here because it helped hone my inner BS meter and, yes, 9/24 will not be a forgotten day for a long time thankfully. 11/10 will supersede

LB-You and Epi are by far my dearest Amarin/Vascepa allies. Whether this “Jason” dude is brilliant is still unanswered IMO. If Woodcock is forced to support Vascepa in the next couple of weeks, I’d support that label...otherwise that dude can kiss my ass!

Isn’t life strange. I too was surfing the biotech world back then and read the same Seeking Alpha article. Took the plunge and lost my shirt. Kept going with the folks from Ihub and look where we are now.
Thanks to all who posted information that kept me in the game.
I plan to sell 2/3rds this fall, assuming a good size increase around the November 10th meeting and hold the remaining 1/3 for the “big” ride.
I live in Hawaii so I am not moving anywhere for retirement, already in the best place.

In 2011/2012 I was testing the waters of the investment world not having a clue what I was doing.

Don't feel bad - you probably knew more than you think you did. Last weekend I was talking to a friend during a round of golf and told him he should take a serious look at buying some AMRN stock - he asked me "how do I do that?" - flabbergasted, I asked him what he owned in his self-employed 401(k) type IRA (SEP?), and he mumbled something about an index fund, but he didn't even know which one it was. Turns out he just gives the money to an investment advisor at the FCU we both belong to and lets that guy do everything - have to admit I was sorta shocked at his absolute lack of knowledge about finances and stocks - I said "tell him to sell some shares of your index fund and buy AMRN stock" but after some more discussion he still didn't understand how things worked. And this guy is 54 yrs old!

. I also suck at math, science, statistics, and a few other things.

Sounds like the perfect resume for a fed employee lifer! :>)
