Taking a work hiatus out of respect for Israel’s holidays etc. should not be a factor as they are drilling in another country that has religious holidays going back thousands of years.
Israel has zillions of religious holidays, and the nation doesn't down tools for six weeks out of "respect". Like people everywhere, they take a day here, a day there.
