I see this text as typical for a certain level in corp. decision process of this BP context. They are at the interface of science:value trying to parse the pile for what it means to them. If AVXL presents a rich portfolio of science-CNS treatment opportunities they are grinding through the IND science to $$$ conversion PIII+ process and the internal risks they each manage. Seems like they do not know or cannot see the (CNS Homeostasis-concept mode yet, which very few people at this level can deal with as an intellectual proposition). Understandable, at one level but they need to make that leap or the train will leave the station. (IMO) Even information(Australia) of sustained AD stability at this point would help. Yes, we know...small sample...some people will never have a Fleming Moment, even if it hits them in the face.
It may be my fantasy here but this kind of back-forth tells me that M. is talking to the wrong people, if this kind of dialog is going on. We do not know what kind of internal politics such a scenario presents. If each little internal tech bus. is thinking about their slice only then we are talking w/the wrong room. My experience is also the REAL BP guys only talk to GOD and they do not DO HELP. If it is not their idea then it is not worth much to them(auf Deutsch).
Very well put Bio. I am of the opinion as well that its either the MOAP of nothing at all. I hope they dont flinch because if we have the symptomatic relief that I think we do for many diseases than the line for partnerships will be out the door and around the corner!
Its been quiet for some time. Missling in complete control here,not some insider spilling rumors to an MM ......yet. We shall see, by years end with perhaps a results readout of extended Ph 2a trial.
