I really don’t see what difference it makes whether or not Sigma’s logo is displayed on an OEM’s printer. It’s not like PR3D is a product being marketed to consumers in a retail outlet.
Are the logos displayed for the manufacturers of various components in airplane engines, automobiles, gas turbines or other industrial products?
I wouldn’t expect a buyout. The reason is, by buying them out they could slow down the technology advancement. Look at iPhones the company that made/supplies the screens to Apple for many years without Apple buying the company. Apple continued to do so until the company didn’t advance the technology and improve the price point fast enough. At that point Apple started looking else where. It was never visible to the general public that where the technology came from changed.
