I wouldn’t expect a buyout. The reason is, by buying them out they could slow down the technology advancement. Look at iPhones the company that made/supplies the screens to Apple for many years without Apple buying the company. Apple continued to do so until the company didn’t advance the technology and improve the price point fast enough. At that point Apple started looking else where. It was never visible to the general public that where the technology came from changed.
