BladeRunner - my post that you replied to was asking about the backup compounds, and for some clarification on what Dr. Stoll said today about the backup compounds not showing the same histo problem that CX-717 has shown.
And also if I understood properly, Cortex's focus for CX-717, given the repeat histo findings now, is to try to explain them in the context of the animals they were tested in, and show that it would be unlikely for the histo problem to occur in humans.
That sounds like a real long shot, but worth pursuing, both for the chance that it might work, and for the importance of the answer to the Ampakine platform... Aiming4.
