I use TD Amertrade and I never have to call them
to make a trade.

That is how my Fidelity and TD accounts are setup. When you call they just give the risk factor notice. Then you can trade pinks on the web. The only time they stop you from buying is when the stop sign comes out. They will let you add to your share count if you already own it. But new investors can’t buy in till the stop sign is gone.
I think all stocks go back to pinks when the stop sign comes out. But I could be wrong on that one.
