That is a locator tool a little better than just a plain PING that gives you a time return...how long it took the packet to be sent...yes or no and if yes how long...i like the locator myself...BVdog

Lem, you can find someones IP address from Properties in Outlook or other that corresponds with someone e-mail address.

Guess a way to look at it, GPS will find the coordinates of your house via Longitude/Latitude lines/degrees.

Yet, you can have an afddress of say, 216 West Pleasant Street. The IP Address is broken down by geographical locations as a standard to be followed worldwide.
