Great post sickzone!

<< Kbl has once again failed to meet a deadline with the army contract.

The Company has requested an extension of this contract option period through December 2018. >>

So it makes you wonder, why would KBLB need a contract extension? They already had 12 months to create custom spidersilk for the Army. The Army contract requires 100 kgs (or about 220 lbs) of custom spidersilk. Could it be that they just can't produce in quantity? Or could it be that they haven't created ANY custom spidersilk that matches the Army specs yet?

And do you really think that another 3 months will matter? I don't.

<< I am amazed everyone here has just let this slide by. >>

I'm not.

I am amazed everyone here has just let this slide by.

At this point, it's not worth the effort....

(For those that are unaware, the request is towards the bottom of page 11...)

KBLB tells whatever it wants to....

When it wants to....

Even though Ben tells me that some shareholders feel KBLB is being pressured to reveal news previously

released in Vietnam media and posted on the KBLB IHub message board.

Blessings to All

i think you are partially correct sick.. i think the extension is specifically requested on the option phase not the base contract

"Under the base phase of this contract the Company has produced recombinant spider silk for weaving into ballistic shootpacks. These shootpack are currently being woven and have not been delivered to the U.S. Government customer. The Company is also currently working on the awarded option extension to develop new recombinant silks."

"On July 24, 2017, the Company signed a contract option extension with the US Army to research and deliver recombinant spider silk fibers and threads. This contract option increased the total contract award by an additional $921,130 to a total of $1,021,092 and added 12 months to the contract duration. The Company has requested an extension of this contract option period through December 2018."

i think they requested the extension on the option phase (new transgenics) not the original shootpacks... i still beleive those are due under the deadline coming up.

i could be wrong but those are my two cents from reading those paragraphs from the 10Q

I could be wrong but I think this was the driving force in today's price dive. No news Tuesday and people bailed. It might climb back up slowly for next Tuesday news potential.

Investors can now assume no news until the end of year from the army when it comes to the new fiber anyways. The invisible shootpacks are another story.
