The still more-Obama economy ticking ok, yet Trump's changes are starting to bite, and inflation is overriding the middle class tax cuts. Trump's tariffs starting to hit with farmer uncertainty building, and Harley Davidson (Wisc.) jobs a problem. Trump tweet attacking HD a pain-in-the-azz for Republican candidates there. . Suburbia has problems with Trump. His con is unraveling. Healthcare premiums possibly up 30-50% in late Sept./early Oct. Trump's administration seen as irresponsible on the fiscal front, corrupt and cruel in the social arena. Even with Obama's (still more than not) ticking along Trump hits 39% in latest Gallop. Not good historically. Suburbia drifting from Donald. No Hillary to bully and lie about. Who could be slipped into a jail him/her chant ever again. It was boring as hell anyway. What scurrilous, nasty, irresponsible action(s) will Donald and his corrupt administration come up with before the mid-terms?

Watergate Prosecutor: Paul Manafort Case Is 'A Slam Dunk' | The Beat With Ari Melber | MSNBC

MSNBC
Published on Aug 14, 2018

Paul Manafort’s defense team rested their case without calling a single witness. Manafort’s lawyer argued that they presented no major rebuttal because Mueller has not put up enough evidence. Watergate Prosecutor Nick Akerman tells Ari Melber that Mueller’s case against Manafort is “the strongest tax case” he’s “ever seen”. Former Counsel to Mayor Bill de Blasio, Maya Wiley says there isn’t “any question” that Manafort is hoping for a Trump pardon, otherwise his lawyers would have mounted “a more signific

Judge had a two hour confab with the jury today. The defense did't call even one defense witness. No Manafort. How long will the appeal process take?

A POLITICO analysis of court documents, congressional letters, public testimony and media reports reveals that the investigations into the 2016 election and its aftermath now involve hundreds of people in Washington, Moscow and around the world.

Some names sound familiar, like Stephen Bannon and Donald Trump Jr., but most don’t. Taken together, they illuminate the way federal investigators are assembling the pieces of the Russia puzzle.

Let’s look at Team Trump

84 associated with his 2016 campaign
47 are lawyers
35 are current or former Trump administration officials
26 served on the transition team
14 have ties to the Trump Organization

The probes have also touched 87 foreign nationals including 68 people with direct ties to Russia.

The list includes
Christopher Steele, former British intelligence officer and author of disputed Trump-Russia dossier
Natalia Veselnitskaya, Russian lawyer who approached Trump campaign officials promising dirt on Hillary Clinton
Sergey Kislyak, former Russian ambassador to the U.S.

So far the majority of those involved — 195 — have a role in inquiries concerning alleged Russian outreach and connections to Trump.

Relatively few — 45 — have been touched by the parallel probes into potential obstruction of justice by the president or those close to him.
