Well I alway assumed that the first and sencond gen solar powered phones would still have a way to charged other than by solar itself. It just makes sense. It also gives that comfort feeling to the mass public that they can still charge it the old way.

I would be shocked if a phone that was equiped to charge by solar would not also be chargeable by conventional means

Who is to say that just maybe the phones could possibly have more than one way to charge it, solar and a charging port? Anything is possible if you open your minds to it.
