The argument was if a regular person can distinguish V capsule from mineral oil plasibo capsule

No it wasn't. The arguement was:

1) IF the above is possible, 2) would it have any real effect on the trial (would more than 1% people do this)?

1) Do you know what the mineral oil that is left out in the sun for 4 days would smell like? Does an average person know?

2) There have been over 137k+ posts on here. Each topic has been discussed ad nauseam. What does it say about the possibility if many RI participants will try to break the V pill and do the odor test, if it took 137k posts and 7 years of the most hard core Amarin / Vascepa enthusiats to come up with this topic - this is the best RWE.

And for extra credit, even if a person determines this, then what? How would it adversely affect the results of the trial?
