Beartrap, that is a very accurate assessment of Dr Liau. She has integrity and honest to a fault, qualities very rare these days in many fields. If she errs on the pessimistic side as some interprets her caution, it is as you describe, that she is always looking at what could be wrong and what could be done better. She is not a promoter and out to enrich herself. Her reward is the satisfaction of providing the best treatment for her patients and if she could prolong their lives this is an endeavour worth the 20 years she spent on finding a cure for GBM. Let's all hope she succeeds to the betterment of mankind ( sorry not peoplekind as our silly prime minister like to call it) and investors who risked capital to support this venture be finally rewarded.

Agreed Bear. She's discussing it as a doctor and a daughter who wanted to find a cure. Forget about the MBA for now. I did not sense her speaking as an MBA, at all. I think she's very principled.
