Not good.
So now, one week after the combination trial was rescheduled for September 1, 2018, a UCLA representative stating it will not start in September 2018.
We have, apparently today, LL taking to the airwaves making it sound as though an example trial has failed the median endpoint, and they are digging for subtypes, a trial that might have for instance, a 20% to 30% long tail. Dr. Liau also states the companies control these larger trial unblinding decisions.
Remember, if these people have been receiving IAs, it does not mean they were unblinded, and yet they could still know if trial sunk. Is she speaking about material matters again in a nonpublic setting -- like previously in the Seattle conference? And why didn't she clear up the slide one way or the other that made it appear all placebo had evented by December 2015?
Some of us tired longs have been conditioned to believe a trap might be set for shorts, but in effect, that talk probably keeps longs ridiculously hopeful in the face of what appears above to be some very recent news (past week???) prematurely spilled???? Even Dr. Liau said her favorite film was the big short.
WTH???
